Uganda's Cabinet approves National Transitional Policy

On the 17th June 2019, The cabinet of the republic of Uganda approved the Transitional Justice policy at  State house, Entebbe.

The objectives of the approved policy include addressing gaps in the formal justice system, formalize use of traditional justice mechanisms, address gaps in current amnesty process, facilitate reparation programs, reconciliation and nation building.
